01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located on Calea 13 Septembrie in the heart of București, Çeşme offers an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine that stands out in the local dining scene. This cozy Turkish restaurant prides itself on delivering genuine flavors reminiscent of Istanbul’s vibrant food culture, making it a must-visit for anyone craving traditional Mediterranean delicacies.

Çeşme’s menu is a celebration of rich, wholesome ingredients—think succulent, perfectly seasoned kebabs, tender meats, and fresh vegetables, all harmoniously combined to create dishes full of depth and color. One standout is the Sarma Beyti, a flavorful main course featuring quality meat that bursts with smoky, aromatic spices. Generous portion sizes ensure you leave satisfied, whether dining in or ordering through their efficient delivery service.

The dining atmosphere at Çeşme strikes a comfortable balance between casual and inviting, with a clean, well-kept interior that enhances the meal experience without overwhelming it. Reviewers consistently praise the friendly pricing and the warm, cozy vibe that encourages leisurely meals and return visits. This is a place where you can savor each bite knowing it’s crafted with care and authenticity.

Customers like Dan Ni. appreciate the “100% Turkish” authenticity, highlighting that Çeşme offers far from the typical, watered-down versions found at many so-called Turkish eateries in Bucharest. Alina P’s impression sums it up perfectly—“good food, more than enough”—making it ideal for those seeking genuine culinary experiences without compromise.

While most feedback is glowing, some guests, like Nour Sh, mention the food sometimes lands “in between,” suggesting a nuanced palate might pick up on occasional room for refinement. Yet, the overwhelming consensus points to an excellent value spot that combines tradition with freshness and well-executed recipes.

Whether you’re a local or a visitor longing for a slice of Turkey, Çeşme promises a delightful journey through authentic flavors, hearty portions, and a welcoming environment. It’s a culinary gem on Calea 13 Septembrie that’s worth discovering and savoring time and again.

I ordered through the app several times now. The food is indeed authentic and not fake turkish food as you find in many wannabe turkish restaurants in Bucharest. Its 100% turkish as I know from istanbul. The food is delicious. It would be even better if the falafel came with a little bit of salad and humus. The delivery is always fast.

It's a great Turkish restaurant which won't disappoint anyone. It has traditional dishes which are nutritionally balanced overall with great prices. It's quite popular among the locals, never empty, but you find at least some free tables. The size of a dish is quite big and they are extremely tasty, with quality meat, fresh vegetables, a very good main course is named Sarma beyti. If you order something to eat the restaurant gives you free hot pita, yougurt sauce and roasted zucchini, a nice touch. Some say the place is quite ugly, but at least it's not anymore, sometime in the last years it was renovated and it's beautiful, ok not one for the fancy people , but a clean , simple and comfortable one nonetheless. The staff is very attentive and polite, the owners working in it and being a original turkish family. Here I've eat the best Kadaif ever, made on spot, served hot, it's a tasty turkish desert with some kind of vermicelli noodles and pistachio. Another good desert is Tulumba, doughnuts with syrup. You can find photos of dishes I've talked about. I recommend this restaurant if you want to try something new and good.

The location is a bit weird and it didn't have many clients considering the hour I visited but the food is really authentic and the lamb chops are to die for. Some places overcook the chop melting all that delicious fat away. Here they cook it perfectly. I havent tried the deserts but they looked good. I'll go there again to try some other things and come back upon my review. The service was fine.

I like this restaurant. The turkish food is authentic (the kitchen staff is Turkish themselves), and it's a nice little gem of a restaurant in my neighborhood. Lots of delicious food.

Excelent! Ordered from a delivery app and they gave us such generous portions. We had the Sarma Beyti and falafel with a side of hummus and yogurt sauce. The Sarma Beyti was fantastic! It came with a bed of rice, steamed onions, tomatoes and hot peppers. Not to mention the mixed veal and mutton dough wraps. I would definitely order the same thing again! The hummus was also really tasty and you can see from the picture that they were generous with it. Everything came really fast and without any problems. Highly recommend it!
